Our founders developed onboard test devices for lubricants and fuels in the 1980s, and since then, we have expanded our product range to include testing for viscosity, density, compatibility, and stability.
We focus on manufacturing devices that enable fast, clean onboard testing. Tribomar excels in the determination of base number (TBN/BN), iron (Fe), and water-in-oil (WiO) concentrations. Our product lineup includes the TriboCon MkIII (BN/WiO) and TriboIRON 2.0 (Fe) devices, now complemented by an expanded range for onboard water testing and treatment. We offer water test kits and treatments to ensure onboard water quality.
Tribomar also supplies products to ensure compliance with MARPOL regulations, including cubitainers, bottles, and drip samplers. Our cubitainers and bottles are equipped with tamper- evident, oil-resistant seals and labels, meeting MARPOL requirements and fully compatible with Tribomar samplers.
Additionally, we offer laboratory analysis for lubricants, fuels, and onboard water quality, along with services for sensors in potable, sewage, ballast, scrubber, heating, boiler, and cooling systems. Tribomar is committed to ongoing research and development, and we are currently establishing a cat fines monitoring capability.
