Das „DLG-AgrifutureLab“ wird neuer internationaler Treffpunkt der landtechnischen Start-up- Szene. Zusätzlich fördert das Bun- desministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWi) die Teilnahme junger innovativer Unternehmen am Gemeinschaftsstand. Die Ag- ritechnica, die Weltleitmesse der Landtechnik, findet vom 10. bis 16. November 2019 (Exklusivtage am 10. und 11. November) auf dem Messegelände in Hannover statt. Als Treffpunkt der Entscheider und führender Business-Marktplatz ist die Agritechnica nicht nur Schaufenster der globalen Land- technikindustrie und Forum für Zu- kunftsfragen, sondern auch Platt- form für Innovationen. Mit dem DLG-AgrifutureLab richtet sich der Veranstalter der Agritechnica, die DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts- Gesellschaft), in diesem Jahr ge- zielt an junge internationale Un- ternehmen und Start-ups, die mit neuen Ideen Antworten auf die Zukunftsfragen der Landwirtschaft geben wollen. „Das DLG-AgrifutureLab ist Treffpunkt für Start-ups und star- ke Partner aus Landwirtschaft und Agribusiness. The new DLG-AgrifutureLab, which debuts at the world's leading trade fair for agricultural machinery in November, aims to be the inter- national meeting place for newcom- ers in farming technology. Taking place at the Hanover’s Exhibition Grounds, in Germany, from 10th to 16th November 2019 (with preview days on November 10th and 11th), Agritechnica has established itself as the meeting point for decision-makers and the leading business marketplace for those involved in crop produc- tion. It is not only a showcase for global agricultural technology businesses and a forum for the discussion of the future of farm- ing, but also the leading platform for innovation in the sector. Agriculture has proved a fertile breeding ground for start-ups in recent years, as new technolo- gies, and new uses for existing technology, have emerged. For example, sensor technology, cloud data storage and the introduction of smartphone apps that make use of “big data” and clever al- gorithms have the potential to revolutionise the way farmers manage their crops. The internet and social media mean that any company with a compelling offer- ing can get its products in front of farmers, and start-ups with the right idea at the right time can build new markets where none ex- isted before.
