Acht Tage lang trifft sich hier das Who is Who der gesamten Kunst- stoff- und Kautschukwelt, um die Leistungsfähigkeit der Branche zu demonstrieren, aktuelle Trends zu diskutieren und die Weichen für die Zukunft zu stellen. Dabei un- terstreicht die K 2019 ihre Sonder- stellung nicht nur durch den großen Zuspruch seitens der globalen Indus- trie, sondern thematisiert auch die aktuellen Herausforderungen unse- rer Zeit und speziell ihrer Branche, allem voran die Themen Plastics for Sustainable Development & Circular Economy. Diese werden auf der kom- menden K nicht nur an den Ständen der Aussteller zu den Hot Topics ge- hören, sondern auch im Rahmenpro- gramm omnipräsent sein. So versteht sich auch die Sonder- schau „Plastics Shape the Future“ als Podium für Lösungsansätze und Antworten auf aktuelle gesellschaft- liche Strömungen und Diskussionen.
