Januar 2017 TEXT & BILD: MESSE MÜNCHEN GMBH MESSEGELÄNDE, 81823 MÜNCHEN U nter dem Titel „digi- talBAU“ startet die Messe München ge- meinsam mit dem Bundesverband Bausoftware (BVBS) eine neue Fachmesse für digitale Lösungen in der Bau- branche. Die „digitalBAU“ wird erstmals vom 18. bis 20. Februar 2020 in Köln stattfinden. Sie richtet sich vorrangig an Planer, Architekten, Ingenieure, Bauunternehmer und Handwerker. Die Weltleitmesse BAU in München schafft damit ein zweites Standbein für die Bau-IT Branche. Für das neue Projekt ist ein Zweijahres-Rhythmus geplant. Die digitalBAU findet künftig immer in den geraden Jahren statt, das sind die Zwischenjahre der BAU, die mit der BAU IT die größte Bausoft- wareschau nördlich der Alpen be- heimatet. Alle vier Jahre wird die digitalBAU parallel zur DACH+HOLZ International (veranstaltet vom Messeveranstalter des Handwerks, der GHM Gesellschaft für Hand- werksmessen mbH) stattfinden, erstmals 2022. Die Messe München und der BVBS rechnen zum Start 2020 mit 100 bis 120 Ausstellern auf 10.000 Quadratmetern Fläche. Bis zu 10.000 Fachbesucher werden erwartet. Veranstalter der digitalBAU ist die Messe München, der BVBS ist ideeller Partner. Der Messetitel ist bewusst so gewählt, dass er nicht nur Softwareunternehmen anspricht. Auf Ausstellerseite schließt das neue Projekt neben der Softwarebranche ausdrücklich auch alle Anbieter von digitalen Lösungen sowie Start-Up-Unter- nehmen mit ein. Das Portfolio soll die gesamte Wertschöpfungskette rund um das digitale Planen, Bau- en und Betreiben von Gebäuden umfassen. It is primarily addressed to planners, architects, engineers, building contractors and craftspeople. BAU, the world’s leading trade show in Munich, thus creates a second foothold for information technology in the construction sector. The new trade show is planned to take place every two years. In future, digitalBAU will always be held in the even years, these are the interim years between two editions of BAU which, with its BAU-IT exhibition segment, hosts the largest construction soft- ware show north of the Alps. Every four years, digitalBAU will take place in parallel with DACH+HOLZ Interna- tional (organized by GHM Gesellschaft f ür Handwerksmessen mbH, the trade s how organizer for the craft sector).
